Horizon Zero Dawn is amazing. If you have an HDR display get it just because it’s the best-looking HDR game out there. You also get better performance than if you were to download it from other digital stores as it’s DRM free! Go hunt some robot dinosaurs!
I got Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice because it's always looked interesting. Love the narrative-driven gameplay.

Then I picked up Mad Max because of the player reviews, GOG players are some of the nastie... well most discerning player base so if they say it's good, it probably is.

I got Way of the Samurai 4, as I was looking for a branching game narrative, plus I really enjoyed my time with the 3rd entry in the series.

mqstout: I'm not quite there, but my spending is quite less than usual and I'm nagging GOG about the bullshit regularly.
In that case, you might want to get yourself listed as "People who are sympathetic to the concept" in the OP of the boycott thread.
I got Pathfinder. He approaches the baldurs gate narrative
I bought the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series on the Spring Sale. I never played it before always heard what a cult game was back then, but still I'm afraid to buy old games, because of the missing gaming standards. Fortunately this series don't have any weird mechanic what I was afraid before.

If you liked the Metro series, but you missed that little hint of RPG, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is your game. The atmosphere is lonely and isolated, but it suits the game perfectly. Captures the essence of the book Roadside Picnic (BTW I started the book because of the game) where you want to go back to the game "ok maybe I'll just discover that camp there and after that I'm done... ok I have to go back to the camp for my rewards..."

Currently I'm still at Clear Sky, but the upgrade between the two first game, if it goes like that to the third one can't wait. And I hope one day when S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is out I could continue it * wink wink *
I bought Plague inc. during this week and let myself lose so that humanity could be saved. 10/10 I would lose again. <3
Bought xcom2 a moment ago, compared to the first xcom, these one really has better graphics and more intense gameplay. Go get it!!!
I didn't buy any games on sale but I'd still like to win.
Disco Elysium - Because I want to get it before it gets banned in my country ;)

During this sale I bought a couple of games, but the one I'm going to talk about is A Bird Story. I had played To the Moon for the first time very recently, and I loved it so much. This is the sequel to that game, and as soon as I saw that it was on sale, I had to buy it.

Something that I feel like people forget far too often is that video games are an art form too. Some people tend to say that they can't be artistic, or can't be meaningful, but anyone who has played anything from Freebird Games knows that that's nowhere near true. They have amazing stories that make you smile, laugh, and cry simultaneously, the soundtracks are absolutely perfect, and I recommend them to anyone who wants to see the best videogame stories ever made.

GOG is my go-to place for any video game purchase. I love the fact that they not only have a huge collection of old games, but they have a great collection of newer games too. Indie, retro, AAA, whatever you want, they've got, and if they don't have it yet, they probably will soon. (Yes, I know this just sounds like I'm trying to butter you up a little, but I'm serious. In the past year-ish that I've had an account, I've gotten almost 20 paid games from you (I'm not including the free ones and giveaways), and only a few from other services like Steam). Also, my dad and I have been playing Warcraft II: BNE together a lot, which we wouldn't have been able to do if GOG didn't have a copy designed to run on modern OSs with multiplayer.

So, there we go. That's why I think you should buy the game (though I think you should play To the Moon first), and that's why I think you should buy it on GOG.
I didn't pick anything because I don't really have much time to play games. Also, there aren't really any games I'd like to play anyway. When I do have the time, I like playing some good old games like Master of Orion 2, UFO: Enemy Unkown, Daggerfall, Jagged Alliance, Commander Keen, DOOM, Blood, etc.
Finally got Mortal Kombat 1-4.

I used to play them a lot a few years and they are still great fighting games to play even today.
As usual, I wait for the last day of a sale to see what deals will be added. But I plan to buy Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts. I need to do some research on long distance head shots for... er... a future project of mine.
I'm entering in the contest. I got Danger Scavenger & Mad Max during this Spring Sale. I wholeheartedly recommend both for the following reasons.

Mad Max: - Close to 29 hours of playtime
- Set in post apocalyptic wastleand of Australia
- Ability to customize your ride with many different parts to make the best "Magnum Opus"
- First Person View which makes you feel like you are in the movie of Mad Max: Fury Road
- Explosions galore!
- Camera mode will have you playing the game for many hours on end to get that perfect screenshot (I know so because I've taken at least 20+ of them!)
- Environment changes every couple of hours of play with sand and thunderstorms. Decide if you want to keep driving through or seek shelter (if you keep on driving, you'll find some awesome loot to pick up)

Danger Scavenger: - Close to 24 hours of playtime
- Bullet-hell rougelike / arcade shooter
- Shooting in the game feels amazing, no 2 weapons are alike
- Destructible objects to create chaos on the rooftops
- 6 unique Scavengers to choose from - each one has its skills and style of fixing problems of the world: stealth, strategy, rapid-fire action or maybe a mix of them? You decide!
- Can play solo / co-op easily
- 2 modes to choose from: Arcade (for twin-stick shooter lovers - you get to keep up to 3 items, current weapon and scrap upon death, etc & Hardcore (for roguelike enthisiasts - lose everything upon death, etc)
- It's as if Risk of Rain 2 & Enter the Gungeon (with a dash of Cyberpunk aesthetic) were mixed in a blender
- Made by a small handful of passionate people and quite impressive to boot (Welcome to more suggestions for the game even after full-release and bug-fixes)

Thanks for the giveaway opportunity CORSAIR & GOG!
