My pick for the game recommendation for this Spring Sale is Diablo (Now with Hellfire), because why not? I mean, you can't go wrong with a classic that is a legacy to the genre. I haven't experienced the Hellfire expansion yet, but Diablo on its own is a masterpiece, not to mention that the music is second to none and further aids in setting the perfect gloomy mood of the game onto another level of depth rarely achieved in modern games. Good times, good games, good old games forever! GOG never disappointing with this exclusive title. Well done team.
I got XIII because it’s a game I’ve had my eyes on for a long time and because my computer is pretty old so I can’t play games that came out after 2005
I bought the whole Deus Ex series (minus Invisible Wars), Homeworld: Emergence, Blade Runner and most importantly Cyberpunk 2077 so now I'm fully stocked on cyberpunk ambiented titles for years to come.
I'm going to recommend Prey. I really liked the 2006 Prey and I had my suspicious about the 2017 reboot, now I'm playing it and I can say it's a delicious piece of cake. The best way to describe it is play at your way - go wherever you want and face the obstacles and the enemies however you prefer. The game gives you just a few tips and the rest it's on you. Definitely Prey it's an underrated master piece.
The games I'm gonna buy are 'The Saboteur', 'Saints Row the third', 'Journey of a roach' and most importantly 'Mad Max'. Back when I was 13 years old in 2015 and didn't have neither PC nor any other console to play any games because we live in a third world country, I once dreamt of owning such kind of games one day, especially Mad Max. And as you may already know at this point, having such kind of fortune to buy/own games or pc was kinda difficult for my dad as he was the only earner in our family of 4. But that didn't stopped me from playing my dream game, one of my rich friend had this game called Mad Max which he wasn't aware of as his brother used to buy games not him, so one day I let him know how cool this game is. He is still glad that I told him this that day coz he really fell in love with this game. He was kind so let me play as well I was happy but ther was just one thing missing, the satisfaction of owning my dream game. When I become 18 years old I finally came to know about DRM and how it may ruin our experience as gamers so I checked everywhere and was not able to find drm free Mad Max. It was in my wishlist from past 3 freakin years. And some days ago GOG brought us this gem out of the blues which tbh caught me off guard, I cried for an hour out of happiness. And now I'm a proud owner of Mad Max DRM free version. Damn it feels good to own a game you loved for years. I love you GOG.
Dorf Romantik - simple but not simplistic, relaxing yet very addictive, it has that "one more move" vibe like Civilization series. Very nice graphics - colourful but not over the top candy. My first session with Dorf Romantik was supossed to be 15 minutes, it ended with 3 hours and I almost overslept to work because of that.
REBEL GALAXY OUTLAW

This is the game I did purchase
The graphics, I must say, are quite gorgeous
The combat is vicious
The music is righteous
and paintjobs for ships are stupendous
Above all these things, what I love most of all
Is that this game, thank GOG, supports HOTAS
I have bought Shivers II, because it's essentially a time machine for me.

Don't get me wrong. It's not a game I played to death as a child, watching it through rose-tinted glasses. In fact, I have never played the full version up until now. I have only seen a single room of the game before, the one they included in the playable demo (remember those?) on a demo CD (remember those?!). It's like a fever dream to me, one that only '90s ray-traced first person adventures can provide, the Twin Peaks / X-Files wannabe mysterious ones in particular. And this game, I have found out now, more than 20 years later, I exactly like that, in a very-very good way.

I have only played it for an hour so far, and I think I have yet to encounter that room that have been living rent-free in the back of my mind all these years. But the ones that I have already seen didn't disappoint either – they have a vibe that proper 3D just can't deliver... yet, thanks to the then-revolutionary 360 degrees imagery, they are not as jarring to navigate as, say, Myst or Riven (sorry). The FMV actors are not cheesy either: they are perfect '90s mystery figures. And don't get me started on the soundtrack.

Just get the game, especially if you have never played it before. It's not the nostalgia that makes it good. It's awesome because nothing like it has ever been made since then. And I'm super grateful to GOG for making these experiences available for modern audiences.
Hi, I am going to be honest here, I didn't buy anything during sale(more than 0 usd) and I think I won't be able to buy too because my financial situation is not good right now. But I think Steel Rats can be counted as a "bought" product which is when I "bought" when It was free. I hope you can understand my reasoning and financial situation. Thanks for reading and giving a chance to have a prize :))
Not picked up in this sale, but I can highly recommend everything made by Zachtronics and Tomorrow Corporation. Also, else Heart.Break().
They are all VERY enjoyable to play, have great soundtracks, invite you to dive into their respective worlds and let you choose if you want to settle for "good enough" or if you want to truly master them. I love that kind of freedom in a game.
They can make you feel like an idiot, a genius and an idiot again within the span of 5 minutes.
Perfect for a quiet evening or weekend :)

Some of the games I got during this sale:

Shivers and Shivers II because they look quite intriguing and I love Mystery!
Still Life because of the same reason - the game might be a little too dark for me, but it's 79 Cents, so I figured, why not?
Machinarium because it's been sitting on my Wishlist forever and I'm SO looking forward to playing it again!
Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers because I have a soft spot for experimental stuff, and I don't mind short games because my backlog is a few miles long already.
Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist because it looks fun and I don't think it's possible to own too many Point-and-clicks :D

I bought We. The Revolution as it seemed to have an interesting story / premise and the art looks fantastic. Couple that with a sale and how can one pass?

Check it out and enjoy!
I bought Dungeons & Dragons: Dragonshard, it was one of the few DnD games missing in my collection and i enjoy them to bits.

Would recommend due to its fun storyline that inspired a nice side mission in my home campaign.

Do mind it needs a little Time, Love and Care to get it running on newer systems :D
Hello,

i bought several games at the spring sale.

Omikron Soul, Arma Gold, Arma Cold War Assault, Steel Thunder, 1942 Pacific Air War, Eurpopean Air War, Wasteland Remastered, Archimedean Dynasty, F-19 Stealth Fighter, X beyond the frontier, x 2 the thread, silent service 1&2, Silent Hunter 2.

Those are all good old games, beside Wasteland Remastered, that is a remaster.

Omikron Souls has a nice science fiction setting, i did not play the game only watched some lets plays.

Arma Cold War assault is a classic, a military shooter/tactic game tough as nails.

Arma Gold is a classic military shooter/tactic game with a ton of vehicles you can drive and a powerful mission editor, and you do not have to buy a ton of dlc to access them. What a novell idea.

Steel Thunder is an old tank game. I just want to try it out. It was missing from my microprose games collection.

European Air War is a flight simulator in ww2 european theater. Missions can have up to 256 planes in it without performance drops. Modern flight simulators are realistic and grafical superior, but e.g. in IL2 Sturmovik BoS you can not fly against huge B17 bomber raids as germany or as escort fighter to protect them. In European Air War you can get a feeling of what it was like to fly in a small german fighter squadron against a bomber raid of hundreds of airplanes. It is just amazing.

F-19 Stealth Fighter is a stellar simulation of the craft. You need to apply actual real life tactics to avoid detection to survive the harder missions. There is a huge game manual, i miss those in modern games, most have no manual at all. Not that you neet a manual to learn the easy mechanics of most modern games. I miss simulations and hand crafted games.

X Gold. A scifi space flight arcade sim where you can build your own company and later an economical power house that rivals the alien factions in the game.

X 2 the tread. The same as X Gold, but with better grafics and more content.

Silent Service. The classic uboat simulation in the pacific as an american uboat captain.

Silent Hunter. The classic uboat simulation, this time as german uboat captain in the atlantic.

The best part about DRM free games on gog.com is, that you actually own the games. They won't revoke your game keys like steam or epic game store. You really own the games. You can download them and store them on. And when you like to play them, you install them and can play them without an internet connection. All the other stores can stop you from playing your games whenever they like. You just rent them.

Have a nice easter holiday and have fun.
Thanks for Steel Rats GOG.
I got the Blackwell Legacy pack during the sale!

At first her life was alright,
but people were a tedium.
Now the dead won't shut up,
cause now she's a medium.

Life or dead, talking is hard.
Help them out, give them some peace at heart.
When all ghosts have been been put to the test,
maybe, finally, Rosa too can get some rest.
