I had to recommend Wizard of Legend, a action RPG that have freedom to customize your playstyle which provides lots of fun
As usual Gog sales are Christmas in the classics hunter in me. Just great way to pick up good old games without breaking the bank. It's a little pricey here but I don't feel cheated because I actually own the games.. now I'm fattening up my library further with these titles.

Red Faction - I always love to pick-up old FPS games here, monuments of their time and of gaming in general and almost certainly worth it.

Clive Barker's Undying - a forgotten horror fps classic made by the Hell Raiser dude. Obscure and underrated stuff that thankfully preserved in this platform.

STYX - the spring sale price made this underrated loveletter to Thief irresistable.

Door Kickers Action Squad - Contemporary stuff but it will certainly scratch the 2D lightning fast action of yer Hotline Miami and Katana Zero.. but with Rainbow Six theme. Always a good mix.
I bought Deus ex human revolution and Deus ex mankind divided, they are classic games from the cyberpunk world, and if you give them a chance its really really fun to play.
I bought Mad Max and XCOM 2!

Mad Max is a fun mindless action game. Don't know much about XCOM2, though I've heard all the praise it has received. Figured it's as good a time as any to purchase, and that massive discount helped a ton in that decision.
Easter is a bittersweet time of year for me - my childhood dog died injesting pinecones, grandma passed away in the hospital during freshman year - despite all the excruciating pain I had experienced at that time, Batman Arkham Asylum would always cheer me up in times of personal distress. Through tragedy and turnoil, I overcame my despair and embraced my innermost desires, to fearlessly confront what had eluded me for the longest time: me. Me, the person that couldn't let go, that let the past determine my future. Many weekends later, hours upon completing the game for the very first time, I had an epiphany: that the reason I gravitated to Batman as a character is he represented what "I" was feeling. The incandescent rage, the bottled up anxiety I dared not express in fear of being perceived as weak, and... loneliness.

Beating the game doubled as a milestone and a revelation, a salutary send-off between childhood and adulthood. Batman was no longer necessary in my life.

A decade later, after settling down, I wanted to revisit Batman Arkham Asylum just in time for Easter. To my surprise, my disk had stopped working. Despite my best efforts, scrubbing, dusting, cleaning - I was unable to recover the disk. I was about to lose all hope (money was tight) when I saw there was a massive sale underway. Impatiently, I scrolled through GOG's massive catalog. And there it was! Batman Arkham Asylum was discounted at 75% off. Without even hesitating, I impulsively purchased the game on a whim.

Booting up the game for the second time, nostalgia overwhelmed me. The lightless subterranean caverns, the frigid clostrophobic steel vents, the pouring rain greeting you as you make your way outside the prison complexI! It's all there. Just like how I remember it.

At that precise moment, I realized that Batman retrospectively has had a significant impact on my life than I had previously thought. Playing Arkham Asylum, I'm reminded of all the GOOD times I've had, that it's more than a pick me up to pass away the time and at its core exemplifies why this game is so beloved. The brisk fast paced action cleverly interwoven and paced with exploration based segments is still a joy to play long after its original release date in 2009.

Young or old, Batman Arkham Asylum is batastic and is an experience you don't want to miss!
BioShock Infinite Complete Edition (-75%/13.79€)

As an engineering student, the old technological innovations shown in this game inspired me a lot, but what I like the most about the game is the way its presented. The whole city has a life to it, unlike many games. The combat is awesome, I like the sky-hook rides and the guns are so fun to use. Snipers are so much fun in this game, the last time I had this much fun with snipes was in Max Payne. The story is AMAZING and then we have the lovely Elizabeth to help us pick locks and stuff. Its funny how she screams "catch" and there u go, u got 1 silver coin that adds up to some 30-40 coins. The vigours or them powers u use are nice, I had fun spawning crows, throwing a bolt of lightning etc.....I kept wondering....Who is this guy, Zeus of the World war era?

The Climax is mind blowing….its the best ending to a game I’ve seen.
I got Tangledeep. I don’t often buy games on a whim, but I saw it, liked it, and bought it. And I’m glad I did. I’m not very far into it, but I’m already willing to call it the finest new roguelike I’ve played in many years. A true roguelike, too—turn-based dungeon crawling, procedural generation and random loot, and (optional!) permadeath.

The graphics are gorgeous and charming, the music is lovely, and the “job” progression system has a certain something that means I haven’t fallen into the usual decision paralysis I face when creating a new character for a game, where I want to try everything without missing out on anything. Here I was quite comfortable just jumping in.

Excuse me, I’ve just managed to convince myself that I need to play it some more…
I have the witcher 3: wild hunt and I only got to play it for a little while but man, the lore and amazing scenic landscapes just reel you in. I can't stop exploring every little inch of the area I'm in which makes me not go very far in the storyline progression but there are always new things I can't help and want to keep looking at. I don't have much time to play as usual since I'm a full-time student while working a part-time job; however, this game just makes me forget the time in the day.

If you just want to get lost in a fantasy, fighting world, I would highly recommend this game since there is so much to do. Even I'm just barely starting the storyline and I'm just roaming the land! You don't need to play the past games to understand what is going on. This game can be played just by itself with no prior knowledge of the lore. If this is the entry point of the witcher for you and you like books, the game is based on a series so there's more content that you can look at!

My recommendation is oldie by now but a good one none the less. The 2008 horror masterpiece Dead Space.
The game hits all the right points from beginning to end. You start off with a distress call in space to mask that it's a regular day, mystery with strange cult in the future, terror from the necromorph; an unknown enemy you are stuck on board a spaceship with and the powerlessness as the necromorph change and you have to adapt to combat them. If you are a fan of horror in any capacity and you have never played this game then now there is no excuse. This game is cheap for the GOG Spring Sale and is really easy to run on a modern PC so go get it!
Witcher 3 GOTY as defines black and white choices.
For me, I got the amazing "*Nothing*" as I have bought many many games from these sales that I am too broke now to buy anymore. I also didn't even play many of them so yeah... but if I had to recommend a game I'd say Cyberpunk 2077, I pre-ordered it, but now it's on 20% so you should grab it, as it's one of my favourite games, also I believe in it's potential to become even greater with future updates/patches and DLCs.
Before this sale ends I'm rebuying Mad Max & Deus Ex on GOG.

Mad Max cus it's finally DRM-free. How many years have I owned it on Steam and can't play it cus it's got Denuvo? Too many.

And DX cus I own it everywhere else, and somehow GOG still updates it (should be packing in GMDX, not Revision! My avatar says all!).

I'd like to recommend 3 games that have very low system requirements and are all on sale on GOG right now!

"Pharaoh + Cleopatra" is an absolute classic city building game set in Ancient Egypt. After every mission you can enjoy a wonderful sense of satisfaction of having built your very own city and watching your loyal workers spending years building monuments in your honor of your family is a blast.

"Shadowrun Returns" is a wonderful cyberpunk RPG that gives you a lot of choice over your character and has a really interesting story and world building.

There is no other game quite like "SUPERHOT." Simple but striking graphics with a time mechanic that allows you to pull off some amazing moves that would put even the most crazy action movies to shame. Highly recommended.
I'll be grabbing Mad Max- and I'll tell you why:

Back when Mercenaries and Just Cause were duking it out to see which was the best military themed GTA-alike, Avalanche Studios always gave you the impression that they were having more fun with it. The Just Cause series was simply a joy to play, even if it was paper thin on plot.

Fast forward to the end of 2018 though, and Avalanche had reached its limit. Just Cause 4 tried to do too much, without innovating enough from the stellar Just Cause 3, and the studio suffered. If only they had narrowed the scope, concentrated more on the central character, and made a world we really WANTED to see ourselves change.

Well, Mad Max is that vision. There may not be wingsuits and attack helicopters to steal, but the greater focus brought with it much more attention to detail, with a robust fighting mechanic and truly meaty car combat. For every GTA series there is a Bully: Scholarship Edition. Well now we can say that for every Just Cause series, there is also a Mad Max.
I got Spiritfarer from the GOG sale. Why did I bought it? It was Yahtzee's game of the year 2020 and him being one of the most cynical reviewers in the Internet it must be at least somewhat good.
