I bought Vambrace: Cold Soul because I got an email from GOG to take a look at it. I checked it out and thought "wow it looks a lot like Darkest Dungeons style of graphics and it is even more beautifully drawn". It is very fun to play and I found another great indie game. Thanks GOG for the recommendation!
In February this year I just bought a new Lenovo legion 5 pro and while looking for cyberpunk, I found GOG.com and saw they intro Metro exodus with 70% off and without any consideration I quickly bought it as this discounts no other website can do better. Now GOG.com is my favourite place to buy games!
Just bought a couple of games but some really good games!!! Might and Magic VII For Blood and Honor, Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete Edition, Heroes of Might and Magic V Bundle and Sacred Gold.
Of those games, I can recommend Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and Heroes of Might and Magic V, both are excelent instalments of the Heroes series, with a really addictive gameplay, great strategy titles with a formula that ages like a fine wine, no matter if you don't grow up with the series it will hook you up from hour one!!! The Heroes 3 is even more recommended with some mods and the free campaign thanks to the great and active mod community!!!
The other one I will really recommend is Sacred Gold, for me the best ARPG since Diablo 2, the story is simple but the gameplay it's all in this games, you will play until develop tunnel carpal syndrome, even better online with friends and that is a function only available in the GOG version, so if you are going to play this game but it here, it's mandatpry!!!
I would like to recommend Might and Magic VII too, but it's the first time I play it, and I'm still adapting to the gameplay, looks really promising but I prefer to give it a more in depth look before give it my recommendation!!! Probably I will write a review when I finish it.
Can't beat the free XIII game GOG gave away recently! Also highly recommend twin-stick shooters JYDGE, Nex Machina, Ruiner and stunning Aragami. All currently at a great price.
Happy gaming everyone!
Divinity: Original Sin had been on my Wishlist for a while as I heard it was a really good RPG title. The game is beautiful and the way battle affects the environment is a really cool feature that can make battles more challenging. I have played quite a few hours and barely scratched the surface of the story, but I have seen some play through videos and the story seems quite interesting. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves RPG titles as it is a really good game.
got Neverwinter Nights (aka nwn...) finally -besides the steel rats promo... on board video chipsets have caught up not to mention the sale price on the Game; I play'd the nwn game for a short bit awhile back but felt it ran laggy and cpu speed then where not on par to really enjoy the game that is DnD related from #TSR now #Wotc -not mention I noticed I can mod the game somewhat too which is a big DEAL for me.... eventually I will pick a up discreet graphics card but now prices are Bonkers....

No doubt its Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales.
The last best price was 75% off several years ago(maybe?). And it's 60% off now.
Anyone who likes to collect The Witcher series, don't miss it. =)
I got the Witcher 3 Expansion pass because it hit 75% off and I've been waiting for it to hit that price for years.
I bought 5 classics, all Metal Slug colection and Metro 2033 Redux, all of wich are incredible gems. Metal Slug games are part of my childhood. All the ours spent on those gaming sessions are priceless. When I saw then on sale on GoG I didn't think twice and grabbed my credit card like crazy just to complete the orden. Also I can recommend Metro 2033 to all games that didn't have the chance to play it on launch day. It is a great shooter with lots of mind-blowing scenarios. The level desing is superb. It will give you lots of ours of enjoyment. Those are must- haves on any gamer´s collection, and since they are on sale right now. Everyone con take a chance and buy them. You'll never regret.
I use a corsair flash voyager gtx 1tb to copy all my gog games as portable. Reading games from it such as arkham knight, witcher 3, hellblade, mafia 3 is incredibly fast. However, i can't figure out why the ssd has an average sequential write speed of 27MBps. A £300 ssd. And i'm not the only one. You'll see similar reviews on amazon. Fortunately, "i'm patient, I can wait." - Thrandruil, Hobbit series.:)
I haven't picked up anything but the freebies on this sale (trying to work through my backlog), but I highly recommend Civilization 4. I've been playing it again recently (not helping with that backlog) and I love it. The details and number of factors you have to consider is both amazing and approachable. Plus, it has so many different difficulty levels that everyone can find one where the game is challenging, but very winnable.
I'm broke........ so I claimed XIII for free. The game looks like a comic book making it one of a kind.
No Man's Sky. Guaranteed to keep you < 6ft apart.
I'd recommend A Short Hike. In the days of quarantine at home, it's nice to have a game like this to relax.
I purchased Vampire the Mascarade Bloodlines, I've always wanted to play this game, but it was never released on consoles, but now that have a PC gamer I can finally play it. I hope the best for Bloodlines 2.
