Bought quite some games here on GOG,

Divine Divinity (ARPG);(Divinity Series as a whole) is a wonderful tale about killing important NPC's and using the Resurrect Spell as a Warrior to complete the quest that was broken, because you killed the NPC :D. The way Larian Studios (proud to be Belgian btw :d) gives you freedom is very fun and interesting and encourages you to have multiple playthroughs.

Terraria looks a bit cheezy at first, but... when you start playing it you'll see time flash before your eyes in an instant and still haven't reached the surface of the game. Very challenging, and a strong community with MOD support where your jaw will drop as low as your health when you hit rockbottom in this game...

I call myself a gamer, cause I love a hard game, playing games blind, figuring stuff out, exploring hidden areas.. but when playing Stardew Valley I kinda let my guard down... And said hey, looks like a relaxing game.. True, at first... (°c ° ) this game is a big grindfest, which I love :D.. The dialogue is cringy but you'll still laugh at it, you'll get your heart broken, by asking every girl to the dance, and get rejected. You'll feel grossed out by walking in on people doing it in the bushes. Feel like a laundry worker when you have to pick up someones underwear in another house.. yeah..its amazing :D

I got Prison Architect!

Shortly after the US elections and with all the turmoil, I thought that it would be a good idea to put some prison designs ideas down. A simulation of how to build and run a prison has to be up with the times. Certainly there will be more than enough "crooks " (simulated ones :)) at least that will need housing.

Perfect time to spend when you stuck home do to the crazy pandemic conditions.
And wish you could put some not simulated criminals away :)
Ghostrunner is what games are all about! Trying again and again till everything flows perfectly. That and some classics like the Metal Slug collection and Metal Gear Solid. Also nabbed my free copy of XIII so couldn't be any comfier this Easter!
As a storyteller, I was looking for something that would help me connect with my elderly and younger followers. After hours of checking multiple titles, I come to an understanding that the best resolution would be a classic board game. So the search began once again. This time it didn't last for so long.

Once time ago, there was a game here in Poland called Magia i Miecz (eng.: Sword and Sorcery). As a child, I spent countless hours playing it and storytelling my adventures with my friends. Back then, it was one of the best roleplaying experiences. How cool would it be to dig up those memories and bring them to life with the new and digitalized version of that game? That was the time when I encountered Talisman, and that was a game-changer. My people loved it from the very first sign. Playing with multiple peoples, changing characters, and what is most important, playing together with young and elderly followers allowed us to create a very special place on Discord.

GOG, thank you for sharing it! Now we're avidly playing it and chatting all the time!
To be honest, I didn't buy anything. Thanks to GOG Galaxy 2.0 I can now see my total count of games and it is a little obscene.
It's all an investment in my children though. At least that's what I tell my wife :)

Dragon Age Origins
Want to become a hero? Get to know amazing characters and bang at least four of them? Want to go on an epic adventure? Drink a suspicious concotion with demon blood? Join a cult? Fight aother cult (this 1 is evil). Save the elves from slavery? (Or not) You can do this and many more. Want to get in on the action?
Then you need to buy Dragon Age:Origins Ultimate edition on GoG.
I bought Megaquarium, but why? Well, I was surfing the store and it caught me hook, line and sinker! I wasn't initially fishing for a tycoon-style game, but it reeled me in with its cute art style and ocean's worth of content depth. With a discount as deep as the Mariana trench, I dove into it with wallet in hand. I swim through the content fin by fin, careful not to drown in debt, and manage my school of staff slowly and cautiously. It's great fun! I can't wait to sea what comes next.

I bought Sacred Gold cause i remember a few of us used to skip class way back in middle school so we could go home at a colleague's place and play Sacred all day. At least on fridays we did, so we could have the whole weekend for ourselves. Buying sweets, chips and drinks ahead to basically be one with the computer. Completely glued to the chairs, bed or carpet depending on what you where staying on, if you where not entangled in all of the cables on the floor ... but just a good time between friends bonding over a game. We still do Lan parties to this day, at least we did till last year. Hitting it up with a 3 days weekend every 2-3 months. tough not so much with the pandemic. All in all Lan parties are very cool, and if i ever have a kid i will make lan parties with him and his friends no doubt about it. So do i recommend Sacred ? Well yes OFC i do ! It's a great experience to have with friends on a LAN party ! One of the few games ARPG games that is still fun to this day !

I got Disco Elysium, it<s the best true RPG in such a long time!
I purchased Warlords Battlecry 2 and Freedom Force 1, both of which were games that I remember playing as demos many years before, and both still catch my memory as to how innovative they were, even with their original releases having taken place in the early 2000s.

Strategy games are not my strong suit, but in my opinion if there's one game you should give a try even if you haven't tried a strategy title, its the second entry of Warlords Battlecry. The music and the graphics I find unique and so well made. The game gives you the choice of many different fantasy nations, and each has its own graphics, buildings and units, with its own playstyles. I don't remember how many exactly there are, but there is such a variety (various humans, elves, orcs, and assorted fantastical beings) that you are likely to find a style that will suit you and help you achieve victories. It has no direct story mode, but the game lets you play a campaign throughout its fictional world. Do give it a try.

Freedom Force 1 was in my opinion ahead of its time. It came out when the superhero movies were still not as popular as they are today, but it pays homage to the various decades of american superhero comic strips that came before it. You play as a squad of four heroes (you choose them from a roster, or make up your own, complete with various skills and a secret origin) and play through a story mode that seems to combine a lot of the best, popular superhero scenarios, and a variety of nemesis and plot twists.

These two games are in my opinion unique and deserving of one's time.

However, the reason I can recommend both of these games in particular, is because of how well they teach you to play them. They both contain well made, interactive tutorials that do not overstay their welcome, but do show you how to enjoy and progress sucessfully. I think this is a feature that is not easy to make well enough, and sometimes players are left to their own devices, or do not gain what they need from a game's instruction manual and stop playing entirely. Warlords Battlecry 2 is still the more challenging of the two, but I appreciate how the game shows you the ropes and prepares you for its world, while Freedom Force 1's narrator teaches you the game's basics as you progress through the game's first mission, complete with comic book text bubbles and a cool voice.

Try them, and enjoy two titles that in my opinion were made with love and care for their respective audiences many years ago, but still hold something special today for anyone willing to give them a chance.

To Battletech or not to Battletech, that is a silly question.
Whether tis nobler in the field to suffer
The MGs and Small Lasers of annoying Locusts,
Or to take aim against an unsteady leg
And by called shot end them?

Lasers and missiles shall be so in use,
And autocannons, PPCs so familiar,
That mechanics shall but smile when they behold
Their mechs quartered with the hands of war,
All intakes choked with dust of fallen foes,
Our commander's guile, haggling for payment,
With Atlas by his side heatsinks hot from battle,
Shall in this dropship with a monarch's voice
Cry "Havoc!" and let slip the mech warriors,
That our contract shall be completed,
With broken enemies, begging for salvage.

I say get Battletech, for anyone who didn't guess, the sale is quite nice right now. If you like the vicious poetry of mechwarriors in battle, the thoughtful strategy of snatching victory from the jaws of defeat, I'd say its a good buy.
