Section updated: Don't forget about your gamer friends that may not know GOG.com yet! Sadly, for the sake of unburdening what servers we have, we had to turn off the option for gifting free games. But you can always just let them know they can sign up with GOG.com and claim a free gift of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics. On top of that, when they register to our service, they'll receive all the 12 free games we add to all the newly-created accounts. That way your friends will start their adventure with GOG.com with a collection of 15 great games total already on their virtual shelves! Be kind, share the good news! :-)

We'd also like to remind you, that all purchases on GOG.com are now covered with our new 30-day Worldwide Money Back Guarantee, so your holiday gaming shopping spree is safer than it ever was before.

Nirth: I managed to purchase a game! I had no idea I had managed to log in to begin with as the site kept asking about it previously.
I was able to check out at last too, after a couple hours of attempts to load the cart with games and then ring it up. Was a little worried that the system outages would result in a problem, but the purchase eventually went through.

I think I noticed a price glitch as well, as some folks have been reporting. I would swear that when I first checked my Wishlist this morning that Long Live the Queen was 4.99, but now it shows as 6.99. Probably they are still jiggering up the various daily bundles and the prices are being tweaked for regular sale vs bundle pricing.
Between my community vote not counting (or being able to vote as many times as I want), getting randomly logged out, and not being able to pick the special offer, it'll be a miracle if this post gets through.
Cool, the sales are open.
Yeah, Fallout for free (oopps, i own them)
Juchuuh, they still have not learned from the last time that maybe the info about owning a game could be nice (hey, i have 50% of the games here and can't remember every one of them)
Funny the choice of 3 special offers (if it offers you a game you own).
mmmh, guess i will check the site in a few hours again.
now lets see if this post comes through
Bleh. Opened one of the "daily random box deals" to see how it worked, changed the page while I thought about it, came back to grab the game and now the deal is gone, going to the game's page doesn't show that deal, and clicking on the box again asks me to sign into a new account.

I'd assumed since it said "21 hours left" or something that I'd at least be able to go back to the deal until the next day started.

Oh well. Hopefully that'll change.
So my Fallout series gift certificate consist of one Fallout, two Fallouts 2 and two Fallouts Tactics. Aha. And even though I somehow managed to get it, I still didn't manage to get one of those present things not to mention I can't logout of my account...
Got an endlessly whirling cursor as my gift, because GOG's servers are totally inadequate for this load.
It's been 3 hours and I still can't buy anything.
Come on, guys.
GOG team thank you for making us gamers happy! <3
Yes, the gifts are not working for me, too.
First I'm asked to login (even I am logged in) and then I am redirected to a 404 page.

Well, I'll be back later... :)

PainOfSalvation: GOG team thank you for making us gamers happy! <3
I'll be happy once I manage to successfully buy something!

The service should scale better by now ><.
Hmm, on the mainpage Shadow Warrior (2013) is offered for $26.66 but on the gamepage it is offered for $9.99. So what is right?
Good start. Half of the site don't work and can't buy anything! :-( Everyone must be trying to get million gift copies of free fallout trilogy to give away before they're pulled. ;-p
Not sure about the 'business sense' of a company giving away free stuff and, insodoing, preventing hundreds (if not more) of customers from actually paying for things they are trying to buy.

I'm sure all of the slacker newbie gamers who didn't already own the Fallout series appreciate the free copies of games they will likely never play, but it sucks that the strain they are placing on the servers is keeping me from being a paying customer.

Somewhere along the line someone here failed at forethought.

Domo Arigatou for the free Fallout games GOG! What an awesome gift! :)
Yeah, the website is pretty much useless to me right now. I'm surprised I could even post this. Would you kindly rent a few servers so I can finally manage to give you my money, GOG?

Anyway, thank you for giving away the Fallout games. That's quite awesome.
