It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I was having this problem. cleaned my browsing history, and if this posts, that fixed it.

maybe it was better when we couldn't post.
Happened to me a few times now, had to clear cache to fix it. When it happens you can't attach images, either, at least on my side - the button does nothing.
test...

edit: just checking. i'd hit "post my message" but the wheels would spin and nothing happened, so i just cleared my cache.

grynn: Seems like Internet Explorer works but couldn't post anything while using Chrome or Opera.
I had the same problem the other day, but it was just IE 9. I couldn't post at all. I cleared my cache and the problem went it. <shrugs>
Still can't post with Chrome or FireFox...
Same here. IE and Opera works, Chrome don't.

Testing...

edit: Fixed!

Okay, it's good to see that most are back to being able to post again.

I would, however, like to ask what the cause was, because the whole time I couldn't post here I was actively posting at other forums just fine.

So, even though the "fix" was me clearing out the cache on my end, the fact that this was the only website I had trouble on AND the fact that so many others had the same trouble here tells me it was something HERE. And I'm just curious as to what. Are we mere pawns allowed to know such information?

I still can't, and it has nothing to do with cache, on my side.

Well, you obviously can. :P

Tried ctrl+f5 on posting window?

Most likely Ajax.

Well, thank you. I have no clue what or who Ajax is, but I'm googling Ajax as you're reading this.

Thanks again, I know my post easily have been ignored or answered with nunya, since it probably is none of my business. I'm just curious.

ADDED IN EDIT: Ok, I see Ajax is some sort of web app that I know nothing about, so I take it that it was a bug in their App??

And does that Cntl-F5 work?? Because everytime I click on that damn delete button to clear my cache it always clears stuff I'd rather it not clear even though I try to check or uncheck the choices the best way I know how. Would much prefer just hitting Control-F5 next time. I just hope I remember it (which is about 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999% unlikely)

They use Ajax for posting. It seems that there is/was bug with it, that re downloading script (cleaning cache) fixes.
Ctrl+f5 is shortcut for reload without using cache.

Oh, THANK YOU. I always like to get educated!!! Love learning stuff, especially anything to do with these amazing, amazing machines we have today (why when I was young I had to actually walk accross the room to change TV channels, and walked to and from school in the snow all year round uphill both ways). LOL Really, from my childhood/adolescence in the 1960's to this..... amazing.

But, if I'm reading you right, using control f-5 would likely work, but it would mean I would have to use Control F-5 forever if I never redownloaded the new script (clearing my cache), so that's not all that great of an option either.

I guess I need to learn how to clear my cache with a scalpel instead of an axe, then I won't lose the other stuff. (For example, I tried to log on to my bank account after clearing my cache yesterday, and even though I'm on my same laptop that I've paid my bills with every month forever, I had to go through screen after screen of confirmations to do it this time, I guess because my cache had been cleared and it thought I was on a different computer. So I had to answer some questions that caused me a headache or two trying to remember again.

Oops, another wall of text. Sorry. I'll STFU now.
It's not the cache. Leaving out FireFox, on Chrome I have an extension that clears the cache when I close the browser.
And before you ask, yes, I tried to post even after disabling all the extensions.
And yes, I've used ctrl+f5 too.

It just hangs on the posting windows. And by the way, a forum that uses a 'pop-up' windows for posting... never seen if before, seems kinda stupid.

This is IE9.
I hate IE.
