It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

IronStar: They use Ajax for posting. It seems that there is/was bug with it, that re downloading script (cleaning cache) fixes.
Ctrl+f5 is shortcut for reload without using cache.

OldFatGuy: Oh, THANK YOU. I always like to get educated!!! Love learning stuff, especially anything to do with these amazing, amazing machines we have today (why when I was young I had to actually walk accross the room to change TV channels, and walked to and from school in the snow all year round uphill both ways). LOL Really, from my childhood/adolescence in the 1960's to this..... amazing.

But, if I'm reading you right, using control f-5 would likely work, but it would mean I would have to use Control F-5 forever if I never redownloaded the new script (clearing my cache), so that's not all that great of an option either.

I guess I need to learn how to clear my cache with a scalpel instead of an axe, then I won't lose the other stuff. (For example, I tried to log on to my bank account after clearing my cache yesterday, and even though I'm on my same laptop that I've paid my bills with every month forever, I had to go through screen after screen of confirmations to do it this time, I guess because my cache had been cleared and it thought I was on a different computer. So I had to answer some questions that caused me a headache or two trying to remember again.

Oops, another wall of text. Sorry. I'll STFU now.
It;s cookes that you removed that were the issue. You had to log-in again.
Firefox works for me now.
Helloooooooooo?

Edit: Yay I can post again, couldn't for days. Tried deleting cookies a couple days ago and it didn't work, but today it did.

Such a backwards forum really. Must have a bit of masochism in me to make it my main place of conversation.

It's really random, sometimes I can post, sometimes I can't. My browser (firefox) is set to clean cache on exit, but I don't think that's helping in this case - I just restarted 3 times and couldn't post any of those times.

Edit: hah worked now. See, random.

I have the same issue since 3-5 days ago on two different computer with both Firefox and Waterfox... works fine 99% of the time with IE though.

EDIT : And I tried clearing the cache and deleting all the cookies, it didn't help

I've been using IE8 on win xp and have had no troubles posting at all. but then again, IE never did have problems posting did it?

frankly, I have found that with IE 8 you get other problems, problems downloading games, I coudln't pay for dangerous dave becuase the credit card info was bugging out on me. the site just plain runs better on current browser software.
[Edit] Oops, posted the wrong thing here...

I haven't been able to post with Firefox (latest version) for a few days now. Tried deleting cache etc, with no success. Just downloaded and installed Chrome, just to be able to post on GoG.com and it seems to be working.

What's funny is GOG had been more stable for its two years in beta than it has been after.
Testing...

EDIT: It works now. It didn't some five minutes ago, I had to resort to firing up another browser just to post in another thread.

I couldn't post earlier today with Firefox. I solved this problem by using another browser. GOG needs to fix this.

Aw crap! I can post again.
Not to needlessly spam this thread, but I can now post again in Firefox (the same computer, same version, same internet connection, etc.)

Thought it could possibly be useful to mention, in case anything significant has changed since I last posted saying it didn't work.
I just tried posting a new topic in another forum and it did not work (Firefox 20). Testing to see if this reply works...

Um, okay then. I guess I'll try my new topic again.

Ok, I still cannot post a new topic. Hmmm.

Just tried IE and that does not work either. Very frustrating.
