What you fail to understand is yes gog actively supports drm free where all it can do so but they are not like ea or other drm guys to actively attack drm game sites and try to run em out of business forcing drm free.

gog approach is live and let live, they have got fantastic drm free supporters here and they stick with drm free here and do the summer sales to ensure good sales.

CD-projeckt also have a lot of fans on steam, psn , xbox so it makes sense for them to release their games there. I appreciate gog/cd-projeckt for not jumping into crap like pre order dlc and what not , instead they choose to ensure equal release of witcher 3 on every platform.

If you cant understand the industry today <sales,extras,incentives like achievements,cards and what not> then you can't stay here for a long time.

The point is to be consecuent with your own words. Maybe TW3 is not the best example, but I still think the same. If GOG and CDPR were not the same thing or if u prefer, the same group they will no being offering so much stuff on GoG and no shit on the other platforms. Actually only GoG offers that extras so they are trying to make u buy the game here. And thats another thing.. fair price haha. 60$ lol.

The funny thing is that they sell the game at 60 (NOT FAIR PRICE AT ALL) but at the same time they try to trick u saying that they discount you of that money but no, u have to spend 60 if u want the game, even if some of that money is given u back to buy crap games that U DON WANT TO BUY.


But the other point has no discussion. They say that offers are bad at 80-85% but they still selling games at this prices. They dont even try to CHANGE NOTHING, just speak on the press, but then, nothing. So many call Valve mad cuz they were creating digital market for videogames but they didnt listen and keep forward. I will like to see GoG doing the same.

they are forced by publishers. they can't sell the game themselves on overseas market. hence why they have to offer the game at the price range specified by local publishers. who don't want to compete with gog and they can't lower the price because of various reasons.

Yes and no, because DRM-FREE it's an added value.
Otherwise, there are DRM like Steam that are "masked" to offer services like achievements, leaderboards etc.

For example if I remember well Spelunky on GOG lacks of daily challenge, a feature present in Steam version.
