I usually played alone and found my personal favorites to be the Witch specialized in Cold (I could take on massive crowds of enemies) and the Ranger specialized in AoE for the same reason. The Duelist could also be spec'd for some nice AoE damage. The Templar was okay, but I found him to be inadequate compared to the others with AoE, but he does impressive boss damage with a 2H mace and a proper spec.

Haven't tried Ranger yet, but so far it's between Witch and Shadow, leaning a bit more towards Witch.

Unfortunately after having the game cause a couple of complete system crashes (requiring hard reboots) I'm putting this game down until they manage to get things fixed up (although given how long it's already been in closed beta I'm not too optimistic). The mechanics and atmosphere of the game are great, but that kind of shoddy programming simply isn't something I'm willing to put up with anymore.

I already bragged to you, but I got some hilarious names because of that:

Marauder by the name of Warhammer.

Templar by the name of... oh god it hurts... Temple.

And a couple of other amusing names...

I'm trying to get into this game but I can't seem to find a good build for what I want.

All I want to make is a melee fighter has uses some magic, a type of "Spellsword/battle mage" hybrid character.

However I really don't want to play as Templar (just don't wanna be an old guy lol) , I'd like to go either duelist or Shadow for my class but can't find a decent build in their tree's for this.

I'd like to use two swords, but it seems from reading things that two handers>dual wield (Because of lack of 6 linking gem slots for your weapons + the underpowered base dmg compared to 2h).

I posted on the official forums asking if anyone could help me find a build for htat but no response since I made it yesterday :(.

After doing some research, I realized you can't have more than one pet summoned, so for kiwi holders, take note of that.

Game is installed, but I've been a little too busy to actually play :(

I've started playing this game with a witch called Mauraya. She's only lvl 8 atm, so I don't have much in the way of impressions yet.

Still, this seems quite stable for an early open beta.
However, the chat is worse than anything I've ever seen, full of taunts, rudeness and overall idiocy. I turned off general chat pretty quickly, and thank God for the option to do so.

The chat has taken a nose dive with this, I'm considering making HC characters to get away from it. Hopefully it will clear up in the later areas as the rude folks just in to try it out will become bored and not get there.

As for the stableness, they aren't doing any more character wipes, it almost had to be. The closed beta is where we took shit with the serious bugs, and trust me, it was a mess at times:)

Glad you like it, we should maybe set up a Ventrilo server or something.

My fingers are pretty clumsy, so there's a good chance I'll hit Shift + Enter when trying to type fast. Presto. Stupid crap on Global Chat magically appears.

Somehow the Global chat was "better" this morning, at least most of the so-called 12 year old brats didn't seem to be spewing 4chan quality tripe into it.

Anyone else noticed some server instability in the last few? I don't know if the client has a memory leak or the shards have been taking a shit, because suddenly I'm getting kicked every 5-10 minutes and when I rejoin, there's about 50 people spawning in town and scattering (so I'm guessing it's the shards).

I've been kicked about 3 times during the 2 hours that I've played today, so yeah, I'd say something is going on.
