Only just noticed thing and downloading the installer. ANd looking up info
Are people playing this for missions?. Or those itemhunting (selling) parties....or whatever lot of those parties playing are doing at the moment?.

People are mostly playing this for your usual aRPG fare: Loot and character customization. And it's really, really good at both.

This game is pretty spectacular. I haven't been playing it for a while, but if you want to add my names to the list anyways, that's up to you.

Aerobics - Ranger
Vicariouss - Witch
Vicariously - Templar
Mondego - Duelist

They're all unspec'd right now since I haven't played and leveled since open-beta began. I'll make a post in here when I start up again.

Fenixp: People are mostly playing this for your usual aRPG fare: Loot and character customization. And it's really, really good at both.
The only thing that bothers me is the trading aspect. Hate it.
Read game can be soloed but i guess realistically you have to trade for certain items if you want certain skills etc judging from the threads...
Actually, if your going on a group itemhunting, how is the loot divided up after beating a boss etc?.

Heh, I have soloed the game and never felt the need to trade with anyone. Perhaps you should try the game out properly before judging it from threads?

There's a grace period of about 5s or so in which you can snatch your items, after that it's free for all. That's a system I quite dislike.

Oooh so you actually haven't played it at all. I don't think you understood the trading aspect properly - there are still NPCs selling equipment, but there's no gold, you have to exchange the equipment for certain items with them. It's precisely the same as, say, Diablo 2, you just don't have any gold.

I believe that the reason is gold farming. And why would it be poo? It's actually a pretty damn good idea, instead of gold that you don't give a crap about, you trade useful items which will make you think about the trades you make.

got around to play this. level 7 ranger right now. Seems to be a pretty good arpg type game :). Only problem is, i have the problem of bsod on windows 7 after playing this game for a while The ONLY time i get a bsod. no idea what might be causing issue.Comes up with a paging error.....windows maybe?
Tried again. After playing for an hour or so paging error BSOD error. Crap.
