Very few titles this year due to three reasons:
1) I've already got a fat backlog, so there aren't too many games that I would be interested in anyway.
2) Previous promos.
3) A recent change in game-buying policy directs me more and more towards bargains which, let's face it, aren't as common as 50% discounts.
As a result, I only got Fallout Tactics for free (already owned the other two), Deponia, Trine 1+2, Race the Sun and Defcon. It's still more than I bought from Steam: I only grabbed Surgeon Simulator 2013 (80% off) for drunkfest entertainment, plus Hotline Miami (80% off again) for a friend who prefers Steam over other services.

Games I Didn't Really Want But Bought Anyway So Maybe GOG Will Stop Trying So Hard To Sell Them To Me
Baldur's Gate 1-2
Icewind Dale 1-2
Planescape: Torment
Neverwinter Nights 1-2
Temple of Elemental Evil
Dragonshard
Demon Stone
Just asking as I cannot imagine any other reason to do not want at least one game from that list...

I have the disk collection of Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics although I have only played 1 so far. Really need to get around to doing that. Heard great things about 2. I am playing Icewind Dale 1 at the moment and decided to pick up 2 while it was on offer.

I got... enough. I wouldn't say it's a whole lot more than last year, but it definitely cost more due to the newer games being pricier and all.
Avadon 2 - I finally lucked out (on the last day of the sale) and got a game I was actually interested via the daily gift boxes
Memoria
Edna & Harvey
The Whispered World - At $2.50 I just couldn't resist finally pulling that trigger
Triple Town
PixelJunk Shooter
PixelJunk Monsters
The Inner World
DLCs for Sword of the Stars: The Pit
WC Armada
WC Academy
WC 5: Prophecy
Privateer 2
Carmageddon 2
Volgarr the Viking
Realms of Chaos
Strike Suit Zero package
Re-Volt
Amnesia: Miss Piggy
Outlast
Magrunner: Dark Pulse
Shadow Warrior ('13)
Got gifted from my SS:
Shadow Man
Wizardry 6-8
I actually was a good little boy and resisted buying some others on my wishlist because I wasn't exactly dying to have them all. That said, I'm pretty sure I spent that money (or more) in the Steam sale instead. =/ Yeah, I haven't spent this much money on games since last Christmas, and I wouldn't be surprised if I may have spent twice that amount this year. Heh.

I do too. They are my favorite games ever and it would be fantastic if she picked up an interest in them too. It could go either way: I assume she likes the RPG genre in general judging by the amount of time she spends on WoW, but the old graphics and interface, isometric view, the fact that they're turn-based, and that they're a single player experience, might be turn-offs. And she's not that interested to try them on her own, but rather to please me, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed she likes the games once I finally get her to try them out :)

Well, I got a few games I had my eyes on.
GOG
Guacamelee! Gold Edition - Looks like it will be good fun.
Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack - Came bundled with Guacamelee! Gold Edition and looked okay.
Trine 1 + 2 - Already had the first elsewhere, but they were cheap, and the first is a good game.
Fallout 1 + 2 + Tactics - Free!!!
Re-Volt - Had this as a child, so I thought I would get it here for nostalgia.
Splunky - Played the free version, so I got this on offer for future play.
Rougue Legacy - A few members on the forums and on the game page really said good things and the Youtube videos looked fun.
The Pit Gold - I got the rest of the DLC. Already had the original, which my brother has played, but I have yet to do more then test it ran on my machine.
Lone Survivor - Daily deal that I already had thought about getting at some point to try.
Dust - Bundled, and it looked okay
Volgarr The Viking - I am sure I played this when I was younger.
Night of the Rabbit - I really enjoyed Daedalics other adventure games.
Shadow Worrior (2013) - Played the original, and people seem to like it so I want to give it a chance.
I was considering buying Papers, Please and Super Hexagon here today, but my GF decided we needed to go out and do the new years shopping, mostly walking around in circles for hours. When we got back the sale was over and she had saved my wallet from my weak will.
Elsewhere - - -
GamersGate
Sonic 1 + 2 + 3 - I always enjoyed these as a child, I am wondering how well they hold up on the PC.
Death to Spies - I enjoy the hitman games and a few people (few) give these good
Magicka Complete - My brothers have it and I wanted it for so long so when it was in HB I took it and enjoyed it so much I bought all the single player DLC. (It is so good I will buy it again here without pause).
Risen - I enjoy RrrrPGs. Plus I watched my brother playing and it seems okay.
Ku: Shroud of the Morrigan - I thought I would give it a go for free.
Anmynor Puzzles - Looked like it could be fun so I took the risk.
Zombie Driver - I saw this in the local Game store a while back when I had no money, then never saw it again, until I spotted it on sale this week.
Shiny Loot
Dead Horde - Kill zombies. Plus I knew I had seen this DRM-free somewhere before, then everyone had it as Steam only.
Grotesque Tactics 1 + 2 - RPG again.
Kaptain Brawe - Looked like it should be an enjoyable point and click game on Youtube.
HubbleBubble
You Don't Know Jack - I enjoyed these as a kid. Really what was my dad thinking letting children play these?
DLC Quest - Been waiting for this to drop to a "reasonable" price (Self-entitlement alert) for a while.
Steam
Just Cause 2 - Not a bad game by any means. Much better then the original.
Tomb Raider 2013 - Both from the Square Enix box. £5 for two games I can call dead after playing is okay by me.
Indie Royal - Debut 8
Groupees - Holiday Special
HB - Android 8
I may have gone just a LITTLE over my £60 spending limit across the board though.
I am still playing Magicka (and finally finished the main story) two weeks later, so this should all keep me busy for some time.
