Don't mean to be rude, but that doesn't affect the key being issued....
I understand the limitation, but since this is not only a known issue, but a serious issue for any play outside of single play (which is not what this game is regularly purchased for)

For those who are confused about this issue.....

Although the authentication server is down it will NOT affect your ability to play online or via LAN.

The check for different CD keys is done by the game itself so with your two keys from GOG you can set up a LAN network and run two copies. Online, only the multiplayer keys will work, but they are not affected by any issue with the authentication server.

I actually have a similar question, but different too. I actually own a NWN Diamond DVD version, and thus have my own keys, however the critical rebuild is harder to find nowadays, would my keys work for installing the GOG version along with kingmaker?

Yes, I've done this with a couple of existing CD keys from disc versions of the game I already owned. When you send away for the GOG CD keys, they will send you instructions along with an .ini file. You just edit the CD keys in the .ini file to the ones you want to use, save it and then follow the rest of the instructions as written.
