bler144: Yes, I will be in for The Mansion with the intent of giving it to finkleroy if I do win (since it won't blow up his desire to win the other game to do that).
thanks! ;)
Done and done :)

DoryaMish7: I don't think I am particularly a fan of horror games, or a game scaring me. I remember when Resident Evil 7 was about to come out, I mostly didn't care. But, one day, randomly browsing I saw this beautiful thing, labelled Resident Evil 2. I was a little confused and after a little research, I found it was a remake, but, boy, was it incredible.
I credit it to be the game, to have brought me a little closer to possibly enjoying the horror genre. And, yes, I thoroughly enjoyed being scared by it.
I'm actually playing that one on and off as of late....and yes, it is quite fun.
(personal recommendation: RE4 is also very nice.....campy and quaint, as well as a bit scary/etc)
DoryaMish7: I am entering for The Mansion only, with intent to give it to finkleroy, if I win. He has been working really hard for both the community giveaways and devoting a lot of his time.
Thank you finkleroy.
Good luck to everyone!
And you(and Fink via your entry) are all set. :)

Vingry: Not in.
But I would like to answer your question. As for horror games, I hate the ones that rely solely on jumpscares and very little on the suspense that you get out of your main character getting chased by the ghosts that lurk within the desolated places your character ventures in. That's why I score games like Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and Vanish higher. That said, I generally don't play horror games and simply watch other people's playthrough of those games.
Amnesia...what a game....a shame the second game is a bit crap at running on my pc(though it also looks nice).
Also Penumbra(made by the same people) looks/plays nice as well, from what I played of the first one(been meaning to finish it some day).
Vingry: As for the kinds of feelings that I seek from games, I usually look for games that can feed my wanderlust. However, this doesn't limit myself to role playing games only, as strategy games can also provide me with that same excitement. For example, games like Civilization IV. The idea that you can interact with people of different backgrounds (the leaders) for me is enough.
I hear ya....it's part of why I like "sims" like Soma and Close to the Sun.
Thanks for the links :)
