Sega is selling Relic. I'm not sure if that affects their current catalogue of games here at Gog. Relic did say they will continue supporting their games but it isn't clear what that means for Gog exactly.

Also, 2K is in the process of buying Gearbox from Embracer. Not sure whether that'll affect the Homeworld games if at all.

French studio Mi-Clos closes its doors.
Link
Mi-Clos closing mostly impacts Out There and possibly Sigma Theory. The latter has a different publisher though, so it might stick around for a while.

Source? I can't find any info about that.
That sales page still has placeholder text such as "retro_classix_header" and "retro_classix_summary"

edit: Yup, updated.

Retro Classix Last Chance

Retro Classix is a collection of 12 different classics originally developed by Data East and then re-published by Ziggurat Interactive. While they are leaving digital stores, you can still give them their forever home in your GOG library, and save 50% on each of them. Grab them while they’re still here and make full use of our DRM-free goodness!
edit #2: Hurry, if you are interested. The sale only lasts less than 24 hours.
edit #3: GOG adjusted the timer. Now there is 14 days remaining.

On the individual game pages it says 'Offer ends on: 30/04/2024 00:59 EEST', but it is better to play it safe and pick it up sooner, as you say. :)

Thanks for the heads-up.
BTW for me, it's cheaper to buy the 8 games featured in the "Data East Arcade Collection #1" individually than buying the whole bundle: 8 x 2,89 € = 23,12 € compared to 24,59 €. What's the friggin' point??
Besides, that "#1" gave us hope to see more Data East arcade games released here. But now, with this delisting happening, I'm not sure I feel that confident anymore.

The point is to buy the games individually.

That bundle only was discounted more than 10% a couple of times in 2021 and it doesn't even have all the games. Same applies for the other bundles available.

And yet no forum or news post. Granted, the sale does show up in the front page slideshow, but that doesn't count for much... except to say that there's no NDA, so can't blame anyone but GOG for the lack of an actual delisting announcement. Wonder why.

Yeah, very strange to find this sale but not a peep from GOG on the forum.

They seem to have switched to their ultra special discord for special premium customers for important announcements.

One of many instances of bundle pricing being quite weird on this site.
