Thought this would be a good idea - let's have a tracking thread for games that might be at risk for removal from GOG's catalog. Feel free to add suggestions in this thread, if you have any, and I'll add them to the list.

See the GOGmix for explanations as to why each game is on the list

Race Driver: GRID
Screamer 4x4
The Void

Licensed games are always at a risk of being removed if the publisher doesn't renew their contract with the license-holder. For example, the majority of Telltale's games will eventually be removed, but it might take years for their newer ones till they do so.

Some other games that might be in danger are Screamer 4x4 (contains licensed cars) and The Void (the publisher is currently facing insolvency and there is no idea what might happen to the game).

Hmmm. I'll add Screamer 4x4 and The Void for now, and look into the Telltale games.
Balls of Steel is a likely candidate, due to the whole Duke Nukem thing.

Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure contains a cameo by Duke Nukem, so I don't what the situation there is.

People have said that Race Driver GRID is in danger because of licensed cars. (IIRC)

The Void suggested by Grargar:

That's correct. Codemasters has already removed quite a few racers from Steam and GOG because of expired licenses, like Colin McRae Rally 2005, Dirt 1+2 and Toca Race Driver 3. The last one in particular belongs to the same series as Race Driver: GRID.
Blood also contains a cameo of Duke Nukem in Dark Carnival (E1M4).
You should probably include some explanation as to why each game might be removed in the first post. Otherwise it will be difficult to judge how accurate the claim is, how likely it is to be removed or understand why a certain game is on the list in the first place. You could perhaps link to the post making the claim or put some short explanation like e.g. "Licensed cars" after the game name. It would also make it easier to know when/if a game no longer belongs on the list if the reason for it being there no longer applies.
Getting sick of video game publishing companies and video game development companies not renewing their licenses and losing video games into a digital graveyard.

At least I own all of these video games.

I am getting mad at gog.com though not having Deep Silver and other video game publishing companies and video game development companies not selling us the older versions of video games.

Like Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light is still not sold, while Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux is.

It makes me very sad.

That was on my roadmap for this thread. I will create a GOGmix, since then it will be easier to include explanations.

And a million other things too, highly doubtful Gearbox would even care, if they could do anything at all.

Fixed.
Such a missed opportunity. =)
