Uhhh, hang on. If Joe had read the very small number of posts today he would clearly have seen the discussion about how we're one town-on-town vote away from a mislynch.

Joe, are you a godfather?

JoeSapphire: Yogsloth - I'm guessing you're planning to vote for Damnation because you don't believe the doctor claim.
It's hard to guess why. You implied that you knew there was a doctor. You didn't seem interested in voting for damnation when he claimed.

vote Yogsloth

SirPrimalform: I would seriously suggest you take that vote off for now. I agree Yogsloth looks highly suspect, but if he's town then all it takes for another mislynch is the entire scum team piling on. It doesn't seem like many people are online right now, but I wouldn't just leave that there and go to bed.
nice try. with one scum in the brig the votes won't add up.

If Yogsloth wants to not be lunch he'd better come up with something pretty good pretty fast.

Right. I'm going to bed. Good luck everbody!

If you are town (which I mostly believe really) I just think you're being super reckless. If you intended to leave me in the brig you should have vigged me last night to honest, we'd be in the same situation except you'd know my alignment.

quiet in the brig!

alright actually going to bed now. byeee

The brigged cylon's argument is valid.

I should wait until another few people have checked in before putting the whole game in jeopardy.

Genuinely going to bed now. Y'all suck armpits and I hope you have nightmares!

I think ZFR shit in that crate over there the other night. :(
Why hasn't anybody asked the most important question yet:

Yogs, whom did you protect? Did you protect bler, as announced? If so, that can only mean one of two things: either there's a Strongman - or you lie.

Damnation, the same question: whom did you protect? You claimed Doctor after all.

Also, with probably 3 scum I feel quite uneasy with the lynch-majority being at 4. So:

unbrig SPF

yogs made the same point. I don't know whether he made that point because he really believes it or whether he made it to appear towny. In any case the point is valid. We are probably at MYLO. One more mis-lynch and we lose. So we should really try to make a good decision and we should try to guard against scumpiling on a faulty town-on-town vote.

The only reason to leave SPF in the brig right now is, if you are 100% sure of his alignment - and only scum can be 100% sure. Also, Joe, if you really are so sure that SPF is scum, then why didn't you kill him last night? If you are town, the fact that you didn't kill him says, that there is doubt and in that case you shouldn't risk that we lose just because one player is stuck in the brig.
If you are scum, however, it is of course clear why you didn't kill SPF - because killing the cop had priority. So again leaving SPF in the brig only makes sense if you are scum and he is town.
The "why don't we have a nice little votecount" votecount.

Lynch:

None - 7 (Lifthrasil, Bookwyrm, JoeSapphire, trentonlf, yogsloth, elebutterfly, Damnation)

Brigged: SirPrimalform

Brig:

Unbrig SirPrimalform - 2 (yogsloth, Lifthrasil)

None - 5 (Bookwyrm, JoeSapphire, trentonlf, elebutterfly, Damnation)

With 7 active players, it takes 4 votes to reach a consensus.

Day 4 will end on the 1st of August at 23:00 UTC. Please let me know if you need an extension.

Criminy toast pop tarts.

I make no apologies for lynching ZFR... you really gonna tell me dude was Townie? All he did was make pithy comments and float around. He didn't game solve. He didn't scum hunt.

And golly gee whilakers Joe... I started the ZFR wagon, but when I learned Forum Mafia at the hands of my GOG elders, Krypsyn once taught me about a concept called the "third vote". i.e., a lynch wagon isn't really a viable wagon until somebody places a third vote on that wagon. That third vote is the keystone in creating an actual lynch - in pushing it through to the finish line. Nobody had to follow me. Anybody could have made any case. Anybody could place any vote they wanted to.

So tell me Joe... who was the third vote on that ZFR lynch wagon again?

Thank god it's 99.9% that Damnation is mafia and not here to pile on to you starting a wagon on me... assuming once again that you're not a godfather, which I still maintain is just not Today's problem...

Which, by the way, you acknowledge that vote was a bad idea because of my explanation of the 7 vs 8 active player parity issue.

I mean, come the heck on. I can't help having fun during a game. That's just how I play. From my very first game I didn't want to be a wallflower and watch the cool kids dance.

You want to make an actual case against me, I mean, be my guest, but it's a waste of time.

We need Damnation to check in. I'm not sayin' nuthin until the "Town Doctor" tells us his grand story of last night.
As far as I’m concerned SirPrimalform can stay in the brig the rest of the game. I think he’s scum and have no desire to let him out. I also still think Lift is one of his buddies and needs to be our next lynch. I really want to hear from Damnation as to who he protected and why.

Now unless someone has an excellent reason why I shouldn’t place my vote on Lift that’s where my vote will be going and staying.
Yogsloth if you’re going to talk me into voting Damnation you had better explain yourself. “Bler ain’t being nightkilled” huh? Nice job, “doctor”. You print that medical certificate yourself?

And Why ZFR and not me if your reasoning was he was being untownie? ZFR has way more input than i do. And there wasn’t as much polemic over me, most everyone has found me scummy all game. There was that little thing of being copped town, but hey there might be a godfather! Lynching ZFR at that point was only for the wagon, IMO. Maybe that was a mistake on my part. But we actually have two wagons of ZFR to look at now. Also I am confused at to why lynching someone for “anti-town” play makes sense going into night 3.

Also I was the 4th vote on ZFR, both positions are scummy. Positions 3 and 4 are copped town players. You’ll need more evidence than that to make me vote for Joe. Also I personally thought it was a viable wagon at 2 votes, given it was 5 to lynch.

At this point I would happily lynch Adaliabookwyrms and HSLoth. Joe’s #1454 makes a lot of sense to me.

Wyrm, I’m not going to bother replying to your post from end of day yesterday. If you re-read you’ll answer yourself. I’ve almost come to expect that level of misreading from Lift (no offence meant!) but from you that just looks jubilantly scummy at the end of the day, pouncing wildly for fun secure in the knowledge we’d lynched a townie.

unbrig SPF

I think the most persuasive part of yogsloths’ babbling was the part where he was convincing us bler would of course survive the night to cop once more. So... I would be interested in your ideas about why he didn’t. Damnation strongly hinted he would protect bler. So did you. Would you please stop avoiding this issue. We don’t have time anymore.

@ZFR May the odds ever be in your favour!

Wait a minute. Why 99.9% ? What’s the 0.1% of doubt? You are strongly hinting you have a counterclaim of some sort, why on earth could you have any decimal point of doubt about that?

I’m not eager to wait for Damn. I want your info now. If you’re suggesting Damn is mafia then YOU let the town cop bite it after assuring us he wouldn’t, AND you lead the wagon on ZFR. if this is anyone’s fault it’s yours. Why should you not come clean now? Why wait? Damn already claimed anyway, it’s not like you’d be giving him ideas.

Maybe you need some time to think up a convincing lie?
Why's everybody so excited about what the claimed cop's going to say? Short of "I'm not actually a doctor, I'm the backup deputy!" what would he have to say that's any use?

Damnation - to make it easy for you you can tick a box:

[ ] Protected Bler.

[ ] Protected some other idiot.

[ ] Forgot to protect anybody.

What's whatever he says going to prove?

What YOGSLOTH has to say is certainly due to be interesting, but he's decided we're going to wait until the guy who asked to drop out of the game turns up to tell us something we already know.
