They're idiots if they think they are taking a stand against company decisions they resent by downloading a mod to "fix it", not by virtue of buying and playing this or whichever game.

So then your other post was a lie, you do have a problem. So then - what is the problem? You cant get the mods you want? And which company are blocking you from download the mod, exactly?

No problem getting mods. The issue is pretending it's some kind of protest while still supporting the game. Just be honest about it.

Type x doesn't really do it for me though it's a meaningless category name to avoid using the real and understood category name.

The problem is that calling male and female "type 1 and type 2" follows one of the most braindead trends ever in gaming, have your heard or seen anyone refer to themselves as "type 2"? this panders to absolute no one except some self-declared form of inclusion

Not sure what this has to do with the fact that the 2006 original Oblivion had you chose between the clearly and instantly distinguishable female and male sex/gender (by way of calling them by their defined terms) while, in the 2025 remake the two options are replaced with ambiguous abstractions that, without a visual reference for context can mean anything and ultimately, nothing.

To be fair game characters could be barbie dolls and have smooth areas and it wouldn't change much :)

Considering that AFAIK Oblivion has mods that change the body type but you have to select one for all men to use and one for all women to use... Maybe you can add a feminine type 3, feminine type 4, masculine type 5... I think I can see the possible applications now.

Do i resent the company decision ? Yes, it's bullshit, thus the bullshit devaluation rate.

Is that a problem ? No, i control the coin that sponsors, or not, the bullshit.

Mods ? Won't need any, i take responsabnility for my actions and i know that the only way to take a stand is to withold money, downloading a mod achieves exacylt nothing as far as sending a message is concerned.
