dedoporno: It's one specific thing I already shared - an exchange I had with RW who even without giving anything solid still mentioned the Parity Cop role. If I didn't hear about that role role the entire game I wouldn't have said anything since it was supposed to be just an example but having the role makes perfect sense in the context of N0 and when I add the "example" on top of that it's becoming a lot more believable in my eyes.[...]
Yeah, well, I got the Parity Cop example too as part of the clarifications I got to my inquiries, so if I got it, and you got, chances are that others got it too, cristigale included, so I'm not sure how telling it really is of her claim being truthful.
dedoporno: [...] obviously not in the way you would have liked. [...] on lots of small bits and pieces,[...]
It was not about the way you questioned him. It's that none of your questions touched on that specific part of his post, which, imo, was far from being a small bit or piece. Perhaps I'm biased, because I knew all along that I protected cristigale on N3, but going from "I tried to kill her and failed" to "so someone else tried to kill her at the same time" is a pretty big jump when, as you yourself said, a number of other things could have, and one did, prevented her death.
dedoporno: [...] That being said, do you honestly find me more suspicious than flub right now? Really? I have to be suspicious ass fuck then... [...]
When and where did I say that I find you more suspicious? I just don't find you less suspicious.
For instance, I'm not sure I buy your claim of being Wesley Gibson (from Wanted) as the one-shot Town Vigilante. Wesley Gibson was the son of an assassin, who himself became a member of an international guild of assassins, and takes them out to revenge his father's death. How does his backstory supposedly make you Town Vigilante, and a one-shot at that, in our setup?
dedoporno: [...] The Plan.[...]
You say that if I or cristigale are Mafia, "he will win the game on the spot". I assume that "he" refers to me, but if cristigale's Mafia, why and how do I still win the game on the spot?
You then go through the case of "If HSL is who he claims to be he can block me so cristi can investigate me" - if both of us are who we say, and you're also town as you claim, and flubbucket flips Town on Lynch... why didn't the game end N3?
And you also touch lightly on the case of a neutral-cristigale, but only in the context of not using my Vigilante ability on you.
What if flubbucket flips Town on Lynch, and cristigale is not who she claims to be? If she's Mafia or Neutral with a killing ability, what stops her from killing you, or better yet me since, in this case, I'm the one standing in her way to victory? I block you, so even if you're not who you claim to be, you can't do anything unless you have a Strongman ability hidden in your sleeve, and she kills me. If you are who you claim to be, you and Town are screwed, if you're not, the outcome depends on what role and abilities you actually have.
dedoporno: [...] How many games have you played when players start to contemplate some revealed information and the mod goes "Hey guys, you are reading this wrong. It's supposed to mean EXACTLY that!"? I'm not saying it's stranger that making sure we know exactly what we are supposed to know, but just as strange. He seemed very interested in us not going in the wrong direction. I really don't see a situation where this is not noteworthy and can just be brushed off. [...]
I don't disagree with it being noteworthy, I'm just saying that after he clarified about drealmer7 and Bookwyrm627, clarifying about the double tap didn't feel as standing out more. Your pointed question about the double tap seemed like you found it more noteworthy, hence my initial reply to you.
dedoporno: [...] Didn't Trent state that people were supposed to flip quote-less? Also, why would a basic Cop know about the quotes? Hence weird. [...]
Yeah sorry, for a moment there I thought only about the part I mentioned.
From what I recall, he expected people to flip exactly the way he investigated them since he had the info about the quotes, and was more puzzled that he didn't get them in his results. Are we saying the same?
