babark: I opened the page on exactly the hour, even have "10" on my clipboard, but missed being able to buy Starbound. Now I'm a bit annoyed at having paid 10 dollars for those games. I had To the Moon already, and the only other one I'd heard of was the Bit.trip runner game.
I may have paid $10 anyway, but was a bit annoyed at their sneakery to make me pay that. Here's hoping for some good later additions.
it is well worth it for Papo & Yo. If you have not heard about it before, then I suggest you do not read anything about it and start a new game with an open mind. It is a very good game (even though a little bit buggy here and there), with an original story to tell.
The only game I both don't already have and am at least mildly interested in is Reus. I think I'll wait until the bonus games are revealed to see if I'll buy this one.
Bought, only for Joe Danger 2: The Movie. The 1st one was great on PS3 and meaning to get this on PC.

Got all the other games except for Surgeon Simulator which only vaguely interest me. The demo of that wasnt anything special.
Hooray! I don't want any of this!

011284mm: I was not impressed that they had Starbound as a limited extra. I would have thought it better to have just left Starbound in an additional tire for those who wanted it.
This mightn't be the right thread to ask, but I've noticed Starbound being mighty popular. If you do play it, what is it about the game that you really like?
No GOG key for Reus ? :(

Gog doesn't deal with HiB

It annoyed me to hell and back that Humble Bundle stopped giving out Desura keys as well (that's going back a while now), but Humble Store is so well established as a download platform nowadays that having a DRM-free download there is almost as good as having one here.

Minus the funky installer in some cases, of course, as some devs are just too lazy to provide anything but a ZIP archive.

Sounds to me like a basis for a refund, if you care enough to ask for it.

not really. First 1000 is the first 1000, it does not matter if you are 1001 or 1010. It maybe be sneaky way to boost the BTA to start with, but there is really no basis for a refund if you do not get to be among the first 1000 buyers.

Didn't this happen because Desura decided to create their own Bundles with Indie Royale?
Should have bought Papo & Yo from IndieGameStand. No buy unless The Swapper is added in the second week... but such games usually are in the BTA tier at the start.

That was the rumour, and nobody really knows how much truth there was to it.

It's possible it was that, but it's also possible that HB was simply trying to limit the spread of keys (people redeeming the Steam keys then giving away the Desura ones), although HB's efforts in this area have always been a bit half-hearted, and now they even actively enable bundle break-ups.

Depends how the present state was represented on the site. If he had a reasonable expectation that he was purchasing a game and didn't receive it, he's certainly got a basis for a refund. If the site still presented that game as part of the bundle when he initiated his purchase, he should get it.

I see the point here, but think Humble Bundle would do well for there to be some way to reserve your purchase while checking out. It's a bit of a let down for the front page to say there are 300 Starbounds left when you check out, only to find that while checking out 400 bundles were "sold."
