I know what you were referring to and I did say it was a bad joke, I just very much doubt it was meant in earnest and therefore I think it's a bit much to accuse someone of being a nazi.

That's pretty normal, they tend to shoot out emails later in the day-by that point a lot of people have already heard about it, so there isn't a massive server hit with everyone checking it out at once.

That said, this is a really dumb system with a bundle featuring a limited-time offer.

So don't? Every game is DRM free. You just download it from the page it gives you after purchase.

Hm, I think that's the first real HIB that I consider not buying ... Hopefully they'll add some good games to it later on, because I've already played through To the Moon and Papo & Yo, and I'm not impressed with the other games in the bundle, particularly not the "sequels". Reus might be worth a try but if I really wanted it, I could have gotten it cheaper in the Humble Store or GOG sales.

It's good to see Papo & Yo as DRM-free download, but if that's possible now, I wonder why it wasn't DRM-free when I bought it from Humble Store or when it was on IGS.

And it was imho a very bad and frustration creating idea : Not everyone could be here at the beginning and even if you was…I bought one of the 1000 first bundles…but as I didn't wanted to loose time and as a strict minimum price was unusual for an "Humble Indie Bundle", I paid more than the average…but less than $10.
When I noticed the "mistake", it was already too late… (3 or 4 minutes after the beginning…)

No, I mean, I subscibed to their email alerts to receive their special offers. If they aren't going to inform me they have an apparently highly desirable special offer via my preferred channel, I don't want their fucking emails. To spam it goes.

Lets be honest, 1000 copies on HB is nothing. Therefore its easy to figure out that their goal wasnt to sell this meaningless number, but to use it as a publicity stunt (I mean, the game isnt even finished, it wouldnt make any sense to go humble bundle all the way, as they'd lose a lot of potential sales).
