Paper Sorcerer, a unique-looking grind-less mixture of RPG and adventure coming with more than 40 floors of dungeons filled with encounters, treasure, traps, and puzzles, is available 20% off on GOG.com, for Windows and MAC OS X. That's only $3.99 for the first week!

I've spent mosted of my mortal life researching the arcane arts, looking for ultimate power to grant me dominion over the world of men. Always buried in books I was. It seems only fitting, that one of the infamous grimoires became my prison. Oh, those accursed do-gooders had no idea what they were doing, trapping me in here. Yes, I might be locked away… for now. But I am locked away in the place that is one of the greatest sources of magical power that ever existed in the multi-planes. I refuse to acknowledge my imprisonment! I refuse to recognize all of the strange creatures of this world as threat! They shall become my minions, or they will become my prey. My enemies might have won a battle, but the war is still raging, away from the plain sight. Sooner or later, I shall bring it back to them, more powerful than ever!

Paper Sorcerer is a stylish single player turn based RPG focused on strategy, party-building, and environmental puzzles. Fight with the skills and spells you've learned in a battle system that emphasizes strategy over grinding. Assemble a party of monsters and dark creatures to fight alongside you. Explore and solve environmental puzzles to unlock secret paths and find extra loot! A double-sided adventure, an RPG with adventure game elements. Please note that the Paper Sorcerer Mini-Guide and Artbook will be added soon to the game shelf.

Dive deep in to the fascinating and surprisingly colorful (for a mostly monochrome game) world of Paper Sorcerer, for only $3.99 on GOG.com. The 20% release discount offer lasts until Tuesday, June 3, at 9:59AM GMT.
Jumped on this the second I saw it. Just played a few minutes of it and like the initial impression. I have been eyeing it on Gamer's Gate, and I'm glad I waited to get it from gog :)
That looks cool.

Treasure: Wasn't this in a recent Humble Daily Bundle ? (I bought it from there.) At any rate, great release and at a great price for those who missed it-who may not get thus the soundtrack, but get in return a bunch of avatars ! :-)

Shambhala: And soon a mini guide and an artbook :)
That's pretty sweet, as an avatar-pack is available to anyone for free on their site - don't know if it's the same pack as on GOG though.

Niggles: Yeah i can see that.. bit of a bugger...

JudasIscariot: Musicians need to eat too :)
You yeah, this guy is the embodiment of nourishment! :P

Shit, he looks like a holocaust survivor.

Excellent, I've been looking forward to it for quite a while. Instant purchase. :)

SpellSword: Any chance of also adding the game's soundtrack as bonus content? ^_^

Soundtracks are amongst my favorite types of additional content. -_^

JudasIscariot: That's actually being sold separately, sorry :(
Is there a chance of the soundtrack becoming available for purchase here at some point in the future? It'd be pretty convenient from the customer's perspective.
The GFX looks very stylish likely I'll pick it once GOG runs out of classics. But why all those new games do not come with manuals?

Because most of the time you have extensive tool tips, help menus, or the manual is in the game already somehow :)
Decided to pick this up. It looks like a lot of fun after checking out some reviews.
Looks like instabuy for me. I would say about time it got here but I guess it was early access?

Meh..it's just not the same.
Question to those who own the game: is there a way to turn the music off? It's not that I find the music bad, but from what I've seen so far in videos, it doesn't match the fantasy setting at all, and it kills immersion for me. In my humble opinion, this soundtrack would be much more appropriate for a sci-fi shmup.

I know I can always just mute my computer when playing this, but I'd rather keep the sound effects. :/

Depending on the answer(s) I get, I'll wishlist this instead of insta-buying.

If it's any consolation, there is a mini-guide coming around for the game :)

I don't remember if the music can be muted, I think not (as I don't even recall seeing an options screen) but I am not sure. For people requesting the soundtrack, the music isn't really that great...

Anyway, I backed at the lowest level and really enjoyed the game.

kalmis666: As a backer I've got this already. Decent game and it has a good price. Must admit I was slightly disappointed about this though. It just doesn't have enough variation.

Crosmando: I thought the same, but honestly for a game that got 13K on Kickstarter and was made by one guy, I think it's fine.
I agree! Its great start for a first game. Assuming that this is his first.
Got it recently in a bundle.

The graphical identity is nice but know that the game breathes amateurism (music looping badly, poor fonts and interface, ...).

Still going to launch it again and play, but just know this. :)
