Not sure what happened, but Dragon Age: Origins appears on Steam with the message that it was removed at the request of the publisher, but the "purchase" button appears right below. Maybe something happened that could affect the GOG version?

It looks like it's only for the standalone version of DA:O. The Ultimate Version (which is the only version offered on GOG) can still be bought freely on Steam.
Mistover and its dlc are gone
"Zombotron" was delistet 29th June 2022. Almost NO warning (about 24 hours), no real warning from GOG itself, a user found out.

EDIT: wrong topic. Sorry.

“Due to licensing rights we’d like to inform you that Raiden IV: OverKill will be delisted from our catalog on Tuesday, July 26th, 1 PM UTC.”
Question guys, was it always the case that a removed game can't have its art used as a profile banner? I was almost positive that you could set them in the past.

I can still set my profile to Way of the Samurai 3 and 4, plus some other removed games. It is possible that not all games have profile banners.

Stranger Things 3 I'm positive had a banner and it's no longer there.
Also Telltale's Guardian of the Galaxy I assume had one as literally every other TT game does.

So I guess it might be on a case by case basis. Or a random glitch/oversight.
Toren and Kyn are gone, mere hours after notification of their delisting.

Yeah, Kyn happened so fast I didn't have time to purchase it. By the time I heard the game page was gone.

Not liking these delistings. Makes me feel like everything here is "for a limited time."

Makes me feel angry towards the publishers that do this crap.
Like why not give some type of notice to possible customers that maybe wanted to pick it up at some point?
They just lose some money by not giving out a warning.
Kyn was here for at least five years. That wasn't enough time for you to buy it?

Well...yeah. That is indeed the case. Same thing for Steam and all other stores. I mean literally all other stores that exist, for all products. Nothing's permanent and there aren't ever any guarantees of perpetual availability. If you really want something, buy it now.

Not everyone was around here since it was released.
And not everyone who was here since its release knew it existed.
And not everyone who knew it existed had their minds set on buying it.
And not everyone who wanted to buy it had the chance to get it, be it on sale or otherwise.

Indeed feels like lost sales due to licensing hell, and I don't think it's fair to belittle possible customers for not having bought a specific game among thousands of other ones.
