Damn....a good idea for weekend promo, GOG... Earth series, Knights and Merchans, Gorky, JA2:WF has been on my list for a long time but I always found other games worth buying.But in such case....

It's not actually surprising as Topware has been in financial and legal troubles for quite some time. Their problems were somehow made public when they failed to pay one dev company (I think I linked the story a long time ago)

I won't be surprised if Nordic ends up buying their games and/or Reality Pump.

Guilty Gear X2 #Reload and Guilty Gear Isuka might be removed from here, as they have been removed from sale on Steam, because the distribution rights for both games have reverted back to the original developer, Arc System Works. Now, Arc System Works is a publisher on Steam and both games might make a comeback there, but that's no guarantee for GOG, so consider yourselves warned.

I don't think so. Both games were released on Steam after they were removed from GOG, which implies that a dispute between the three distributors (Kiss Ltd., Funbox Media, Blue Moon Red Owl) was the reason for their removal the first time around. When they returned here, the publisher remained the same (Blue Moon Red Owl), so the dispute was probably solved. Now, though, the distribution rights to the games have reverted back to the original developer (Arc System Works) who is a Japanese company and GOG doesn't have the best track record with them.

Bumping this just to let anyone interested <span class="bold">The Void</span> is now on 75% off discount, game has high risk of being pulled from GOG just like from Steam due to legal rights between Ice-Pick Lodge and Novyi Disk.

Oooh didn't know about this - I've actually wanted it for a while just because of how odd the gameplay mechanics sounded from the reviews here (and I'm not even sure I *know* what those mechanics are - I see a theme with their games LOL - Icepick did Knock, Knock as well yes?).

When I saw it go on sale today I knew it was going to be one of my pickups even BEFORE I saw this news.

Well, it was removed from Steam quite a while ago; and here on GOG, Novyi Disk isn't listed on the store page. (Not saying it won't ever leave.)

Still, thank you for the heads-up! I'm definitely going to buy it at the end of the sale (to make one big, bulky purchase).
