The prices aren't too bad and yet there are still people on the Steam forums whining that they are too expensive! I'm just happy that they currently appear to be worldwide. May just pick up the 4 adventure games I'm interested in. Nothing StarWars though. Can't stand that franchise.

Seriously? This is why I try to stay very, very far away from the Steam forums, the general quality of their forumites is too low.

Like the IMDB. (Internet Movie Database)

Krankor: Can't argue with UK prices either.

thornton_s: I'm almost tempted, but its steam, i want to buy games not rent them.
I know i'm dreaming but it would be great if they cam to GOG even if they were a bit more expensive.
The SE Secret of Monkey Island is now showing in the coming soon section, no price yet though.

:)
The SE SOMI price!
I'm going to stick my neck out and say it's going to be £19.99 or lower. maybe £17.99
The only logic I'm using for that statement is it's also going to XBLA.
A good guess ?

I was hoping £10-15. Just have to wait and see. After seeing the current prices i think we may be suprised.
Is the PC version going to be Steam only or will they be apperaing anywhere else ?

Its will be Steam only at first, but they did say it will be on other download services, they just didn't specify which ones or when.

The folks on the Steam forums are breaking my heart. They truly have no idea what they are talking about, complaining about the price of these old mega-classics! Like the old saying goes: "throwing pearls before swine" indeed.

I don't have the energy to go and look. Man that forum makes me want to kill.

For some reason i'm tempted to go have a look now. Surely it can't be worse than the 'Fan Boys' vs 'The Flamers' at the IMDB.
LOL! I lied and took a look.
this had me rolling about laughing...
STEAM FORUMS : Lucasarts.
Indiana Jones and the last crusade is not available in Germany.

Nice.

Sadly yes. Kids these days, just don't seem to appreciate the good old stuff. And while I'd have loved to have gotten the games from GOG even for a more expensive $5.99, I just couldn't resist the Indy games. Too bad they're holding off on the Monkey Island games too. I don't really care for a remastered version.

I expect that's down to legal reasons involving some German law and the display of Nazi insignia.

You will have to let us know what the differences are in The Last Crusade as it is supposed to be an unreleased version.
I'll wait for GOG to get them. I'd rather own them.
Not that I don't own them already. hehe SCUMM works wonders for the oldies.
That reminds me I want to play Full Throttle again.

Dreadcog, in so many ways you're right. I think a lot of us are missing the point and riding with the hype :)
Though if GOG were to expand their catalogue with the finer Lucasarts titles, my reasoning and your straight thinking would be forgotten in a jiffy! :)
