_Auster_: Kinda of a weird one:
Saint Kotar: The Yellow Mask was announced as getting delisted from Steam yesterday (September 10):
https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/868770/view/2957165219743350310 Now the game here on GOG, which was originally free, appears as "coming soon" now, but it's still in my account and the files can still be downloaded.
Also, its DLC,
Saint Kotar: Supporter Pack, can still be bought.
And when a demo was retroactively removed from everyone's accounts,
a GOG moderator said "Rest assured, this will never happen with a full game". Now, does Saint Kotar: The Yellow Mask count as a full game? The announcement on Steam says "The reason: The Yellow Mask does not represent the level of quality
Saint Kotar (the full game) has now."
Hopefully I'm overthinking it, but the free game and the paid DLC being part of an "incomplete" product, and not a full one, might mean whomever wants to secure the game may need to download everything and keep the back ups safe.
The fact that there's paid content in the form of the Supporter Pack associated/integrated with the Yellow Mask's product entry would make it impossible (from a legal standpoint at least) for GoG to remove it from people's libraries.
I guess it'd still be possible if they decoupled the Supporter Pack from the Prologue and made them into separate and independent product entries, but that'd be a little too excessive and therefore unlikely to happen.
Might be a whole different story for people who hadn't got and don't plan to get the Supporter Pack and have just the free Prologue sitting in their library.
