It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

mrkgnao: Another related issue:
- If you try to "buy" a FREE game/DLC as a gift, the checkout button on the "Checkout" window now reads "Pay with PayPal", not "Get Free" (or whatever it used to read).
- If you click on the "Pay with PayPal", a Paypal pop-up appears, then disappears, and a GOG "There was a problem with processing your payment. Please try again." error message is printed.
- However, the "purchase" does go through and the gift code appears in your "Orders History" window.

Probably the same if you buy it not as a gift (couldn't test).
Hey mrkgnao.

Thanks for raising the issue, we will look into closely and i will let you know once we have fixed it.

In continuation of my issue (can't purchase at all -- see posts 120 through 134): I just tried to buy on my Android phone on a fresh Google Chrome browser (completely untouched, no add-ons, nothing blocked) and it still won't let me. It lets me log into PayPal, I press the complete purchase button, and when it gets back on GOG, it just loops the cart, no error message, purchase won't complete. This gets weirder and weirder.

Yeah, this still doesn't work. Tried to make a purchase, it sits there after entering my Paypal password with nothing happening, eventually I get an email from Paypal saying "Want to complete your PayPal payment at GOG Sp. Z o.o.? To finish up, go back to GOG Sp. Z o.o. and give your final approval." With no link or anything, so I'm not sure where I'm supposed to go "back to" since there's nowhere to give "final approval," nor has this happened before.

Again, what was the point of this? It worked before, now it doesn't, can't see how that's any improvement.

Mine has been doing this since yesterday. Not sure what is going on, but I already submitted a support claim.

I was able to 'temp fix' my problem by using Opera, but this is occurring on Firefox for me.
OK, figured I'd try again just to see, and it actually worked that time. Still, the fact that it randomly fails (and still isn't working for others) doesn't inspire much confidence.
Support had a look at my purchase log and found out that my bank was rejecting the payment. The problem is that there appears to be no error message for this anymore and the shop just tries to complete the payment over and over again, but they're probably looking into that now.
It's worrying that there are still problems.

Contrarily, just to provide a positive, I have successfully purchased some games using PayPal without surrendering my credentials. I logged in, confirmed the debit, and automatically logged out.
I'm still unable to use PayPal for further GOG purchases. On my Android device it says that PayPal is not available as payment method right now while it let's me use it on my desktop machine but the process aborts after an unspecified error during the payment process. What is going on?
PayPal - Selected payment method is currently unavailable, please choose a different one.

i'm unable to make purchases in last few days ... zero explanation what is wrong

note: it works fine in GOG galaxy, so problem is only when using any chromium browser (chrome, vivaldi, opera, iron etc.)

igrok: I am also not able to buy anything with paypal. I hope gog quickly fixes whatever it broke.
Yep, the same for me. No PayPal, no money. It's their loss, not mine. I use Firefox, btw.

I try it in galaxy, though. ... Funny, works in Galaxy.

P.S: I deactivated NoScript, used their help desk method, deactivated even uBLock Origins, to no avail. It just does not work at all. Thanks, GOG. They just don't want my money.

Yep, did the same. Was recommended to try Chrome or Edge. I told them if they don't want their customers to spend money, it's on them. I certainly won't jump through hoops just to buy something here when everywhere else, everything works fine.

Happily spent 400€ on games these last ten days...on an actual working website.
WTF is happening with paypal payments here???
I can pay for patreon, furaffinity and everything inbetween but can't pay through the website???

Yup, same here. Hey GOG - is this going to be addressed??
Same problem. Paypal payment option unavailable.
