Sachys: As much fun as that was, and as much as I saw it as a valid recognition, thanks and way to reward the gifters on here, I began to think how many there are here that give in other ways - through their time, expertise and assitance (among other qualities they bring).
Yes, this didn't seem a difficult concept to grasp even if some seemed to struggle with it. Not to mention one I liked. I still say the overall effort was weak. Just off the top of my head here are some additional GOGlodytes:
Arkose, probably the most active in the all the game sub-forums and very knowledgable. Surely a shoe-in?
Qbix, dosbox developer, has a GOG account and uses it on occasion (saw a post in december). Should be an automatic nomination.
voodoo47, tireless & unceasing efforts in the & [url=https://secure.gog.com/forum/system_shock_2#1389048128]System Shock 2 sub-forums.
A_Future_Pilot, all things Descent.

Some very much deserved recognition for all people mentioned. Truly, this place would be immeasurably poorer without any one of them. Glad to have you around, folks! Much :-) in the new year!
