I was actually joking man xD I wouldn't know who to nominate.
I love the people who make me laugh, then there are those who make you sad, but they are special too.

There are members on the forum that have all the technical answers that I simply would never have thought of and another who advises how best to run all my Gothic games.
Also very special to me those that write beautiful stories. Maybe best of all is just the everyday kindness shown by all.

So thank you The Sigil for the giveaway and Sachys for all the trouble you take (and your beautiful drawings, need more please) but I cannot choose just one person.
I'd like to nominate Barry Woodward for his regular posts that bring loght to unkown or lesser known games and his tirless crusade to help bring those games to GoG. Such as http://www.gog.com/forum/general/vote_for_indies_win_assorted_games Or
http://www.gog.com/forum/general/vote_for_vanguard_princess_win_shadow_man
Oh and he does include giveaways too.
Apple of Discord
As a relative newcomer to the forums. I apologise if my entry's a little pedestrian, Sachys, and I hope I've followed all the rules!

I'd like to nominate Momo1991, since she's always generous, and brings a friendly, jokey cheeriness to the various threads she's been in!

I'll just put the one link here, since I think it demonstrates both aspects:

I nominate TinyE. He adds humor, controversy, self-pity, unfunny stuff, bad language, off-color attempts at humor, grumpy old man stuff, and even somtimes true and helpful facts about old games. He sticks his nose in whether it's wanted or not and wherever it's wanted or not. God knows what he smells afterward. I imagine him a small round bearded troll-like creature who wears a red Christmas hat all the time. I imagine he has one of those electric stair chair rails to ride up and down on. I imagine he eats ice cream while wearing white underpants and sitting on a booster seat in front of his computer. I imagine he wears Buddy Holly glasses. I spend too much time imagining TinyE, but, then again, I suppose many of us do. Every time he goes a day without posting I imagine that he has died in a tragic tractor accident during a feud with one of his neighbors.

Three cheers for TinyE!

Hooray! Hooray! Hooray!
Well Hell, I've been mulling and am still at loggerheads.

I would like to nominate Psyringe for his excellent reviews and thorough examinations of games, as well as his skill at deal spotting. He often has useful information to impart when an interesting game is being discussed. In a similar vein triock is usually handy with useful gaming facts and info as well, though delivered in his own terse style.

I must reaffirm the suggestion of tfishell for game research moxie, along with SCPM in that same category. Together they have dredged up a massive trove of game history.

On the "better living through gifting" front, Ian, Momo, Samlii, and Schnuff are nonpareils of generosity who brighten the community in ways that go beyond mere gifting. Just seeing them pop in is enough to brighten folks' day.

On the more personal front, I have had some absolutely smashing conversations with DeMignon and Nirth, both of whom are waters which run deep.

And there are so many more, from the fab gang in the ninja thread (Spinorial, Thespian*, blakstar, chezybezy, some chimp looking fellow) to forum buddies like blotunga, JohnWalrus, and VampiroAlhazred. I could so easily list dozens more, all of whom make my time here a delight.

So I have concluded I cannot select just one person. I deny the cold equations of The Sigil, and laud instead each and every GOGnard that makes this forum the jewel it is.

I SING THE BODY ELECTRIC!

I nominate TinyE because while sometimes his jokes make you want to stab yourself in the head with a fork, there are times they manage to hit right on and make you laugh. He always seems upbeat and cheerful, which is more than I can say for myself.
I nominate Ian

Ki11s0n3: I nominate Ian
The nomination requirements state thats not a possibility. Please make a considered choice within them!
I nominate Licurg. His continual sacrifice is an inspiration to us all. :D
In all seriousness though, Licurg is incredibly patient and helpful with newcomers to the forums and his crazily inexhaustible supply of games to others makes him some kind of Santa/Easter Bunny.

Poor example but the main one I could find:
http://www.gog.com/forum/general/nothing_is_over_nothing_is_over/page1

I was really hoping to find the one where he said, "Here is a torch to light your way" to a new user, but alas, the search function hath bested me. Basically anytime anyone new appears, there pops in Licurg with a smile and a game, whatever advice is needed to answer the person's question, and then poof he's gone.
