JMich: If you assume you are better than someone else due to objective reasons (I'm a better weight lifter because I can lift more weights), then that is fine. If you assume you are better than someone else due to subjective reasons, aka personal preference (I'm a better weight lifter because I prefer blondes), then I do shake my head and walk on.
Oh ok, well it is like rectangles and squares. All my reasons are naturally rectangles, but some of those can objectively be called squares, too.

Is that the only thing one can do with rope? What about nets, knots, traps, hammocks? How about tying things, towing things, securing things? Not to mention that if you are willing to combine rope with oil, you can make a lamp. Add a rock (or three) and you have a bolas. You can even weave chairs with rope.

But no, you assume I'm giving it to you to cause you harm. Why would I want to harm a gamer?

Btw...are you sure you were mocked for playing videogames and not for just being Jmich? Because even back then there was no kid in existance who did not want to play videogames. And before that they would not have heard of it or know what the word means.

Jocks vs Geeks mentality. Discussing possible strategies for Master of Magic was mocked, discussing what tactics a sports team should use (even if you have no idea about tactics) was seen as a good thing. To say nothing of explaining the structure of the saved games and what you could modify to gain an advantage.

If you were truly lucky enough to not have had that experience, I am happy for you, and I do wish you never have it.

Yes in my school the jocks played civilization and master of magic,too,while the geeks learned for school.That's why they were geeks.
